Boone KOA
This is the highest KOA east of the Mississippi, set at an altitude of nearly 4,000 feet. Nature and comfort meet here, a spot with long pull thrus under tall trees, a pool, mini golf, arcade games and even a mini zoo with European fallow deer, all set atop a scenic mountain just four miles from city services. Directions Easy access from Blue Ridge Parkway on US 321 or 421. From Boone 194 north 3 miles, turn left on Ray Brown Road 1 mile.
